Stoneage Organics is a family business run by Keith Martin specializing in organically grown produce. Our first land (at Oake, near Taunton, Somerset) was converted to Soil Association symbol status in 1988. Since then, the rest of the farm has gradually been converted so that since 1st January 2001 it has been entirely organic. In addition to the farm in Oake, we also have a farm near Bishop's Lydeard which has been fully organic since 1st January 2001, giving us an approximate total of 70 acres.
Our breads are naturally fermented, (sometimes referred to as Sourdough ). They are made using our own homemade Leaven of Flour and water instead of commercially made bakers yeast. We make Bread using old Traditional methods using only the raw ingredients necessary. We never use pre-mixes.

Eight years ago Linscombe Farm relocated from its birthplace just outside Crediton to new land in the prime farming area near the confluence of the Rivers Creedy and Exe. Bidwell Barton is only 4 miles from Crediton, and although now only 4 miles by road to the Cathedral in Exeter, it is hard to believe the proximity of the city when on the farm. Bidwell Barton is a 120 acre farm, 70 acres are laid to arable and the rest is permanent grass. The soil is very deep and fertile - ideal for growing our wide range of vegetables.
Our family run farm is located on the outskirts of Exeter near Shillingford Abbot. We have been running an organic vegetable box scheme since 2001. This culminated in 2013 with us winning the ‘Best Box Scheme’ in the Soil Association’s National Awards, we have also won many other awards. We grow a wide range of organic vegetables, salad, herbs, fruit and we also have 3 flocks of chickens for eggs, which roam on the clover leys. We grow with care and consideration and adopt many methods which encourage a natural balance.
